I was going to put this in the discography somewhere, but I guess I spaced it. It was designed in the popular black and white to appeal to the crowd that shops at Hot Topic. I’ve never seen it there, but you can get it through Amazon. Here’s the link:

I once saw a Pups shirt on eBay; it was a green color with the Meat Puppets logo between the words “Meat” and “Puppets”.

That was our first design, from back in 1983 or 84. We first issued it in black and white, then green and white. Finding that one in good condition would be quite a feat.

that is one nice band shirt, one of the best i’ve seen, i swear even if i wasn’t a fan of the band i would sport this shirt, but then that would go against everything i believe in, i’d be like the people i mock, ok so that’s beyond the point, i just wanted to tell you that that is a bitching shirt, i said bitching, i never say bitching, that’s just how bitching the shirt is that it forced me to use a word that i never use to describe anything, so that is a compliment, ok so im gonna stop now.

You guys need to bring back the yellow “Too High To Die” shirts. Those were killer (plus mine is ready for retirement).

The first “real” show i went to was the Black Flag “My War “Tourwhich ,Nig Heist and the Meat puppets played.
I was blown away .That night I traded my Greatful Dead T-shirt off my back for a Meat Puppets t which I continued to wear all through High School in the Big Texas suburb of Houston ,Jersey Village.
Well over 20 years have passed and I know that I still play in Rock bands because of the Meat Puppets and bands like them.
Not near enough is written about the 80′s post punk era . Boy am I lazy.
Kudos Kudos to those keep it all together.

Nice but please come out with some new ones. Like one with a photo of you guys jamming With “The Meat Puppets” on it or overlapping drawings and pieces of lyrics with “Meat Puppets” on it. Or the AWESOME Pups shirt! That is my favorite!

Hey Derrick, i’ve been looking for a MP poster for about a year now and i was wondering if you guys will or have ever made one, and if so where could i find it?
Left by Sam! on July 16th, 2006
We never did market a poster; it’s not likely there ever will be one. Get painting!

i made a cooler one myself which sounds crude but i drew the cover of monster on a tee shirt very large and painted it. its one of the best shirts ive ever made.

I got mine, its funny getting looks from people at old navy (where i work) who have no concept of the band but thnk it looks cool.

Hey Derrick. It’s great to see my kids surfing the MP site all on their own. They grow up so fast! Makes me proud to know that they are being raised right. They even made me dig out my MP flyer book and show them the hand made pics inside of “In a Car”. Miss ya’!

I made my own shirt in my graphics class. It had a black and white stencil of you guys from a picture i found on google. Below it, it says meat puppets. I know a lot of people would like it, but i doubt i could ever sell it because of copy rights.

My girlfriend and I always talk about how we’d love a Meat Puppets T-shirt with the image of the album cover of “Up On The Sun” or “II” on the front of the shirt…. The “Up on the Sun” shirt would be a mustard yellow colored t-shirt, and the “II” shirt would be a light blue one…. While I love all the MP albums, (the new Sewn Together album is FANTASTIC by the way), those two records are some of my favorite of all time. I’ve grown up with those 2 records as part of the soundtrack to my life. I put them up there next to the first 4 Black Sabath albums, all the Zeppelin albums, heck- all the 70′s greats…. those 2 MP albums were easily my favorites of the SST days (with Minutemen, Husker Du, Sonic Y, Dino, etc)…. anyway, if you guys make those T-Shirts, we’d definately buy ‘em….just a thought… thanks for reading!
