Thanks Nathan (tunes), thanks Derrick (site I explored madly), I feel old, I feel renewed. Lots of great tunes and additional tracks downloaded, almost sorry for grasping them for free.

Seriously, thanks for everything you are doing, it's refreshing to find someone in a position like yourself that actually gives a rip about the fans, it seems most bands couldn't care less about their followers..

As a huge fan of everything Meat Puppets I have a burning desire to own everything ever released by you guys, lol, including the rare stuff, unfortunately, some releases are simply impossible to find. I actually prefer to purchase the CD's rather than download off of the web because I'm an obsessive audiophile and simply cannot stand the mp3 format or anything less than the Redbook standard. Do you think it would ever be possible to get some if not all of the out of print Meat Puppet releases available for download in CD quality, my life would be complete if I cold finally have
the complete Puppets discography at my fingertips, lol, I would pay good money for that privilege.

I went and watched the filming of Finn and Friends, a locally produced tv show in 1985 when the MP played Maidens Milk and Swimming Ground live soon after Up on the Sun came out. I had recorded this show on vhs hoping to see my friend and I in the audience. I had it up until a few years ago. I had left it at my mom's house when I moved out and she finally dumped all the vhs tapes one day. Does anyone by chance have this appearance on tape?

Derrick you gave us at KSUA in Fairbanks a very long interview in the early 90s that absolutely blew everyone who heard it away. I transcribed it afterwards and put it in the 'zine that accompanied our show, Experiment Alpha (a comedy, drama and music hybrid show). Furthermore, you corrected the lyrics that the band I was in at the time was using for Severed Goddess Hand ("But what do I know, I'm just the drummer") which we'd *just* picked up about a week before the interview and only our main guitarist knew (unlike me, the vocalist) I mention it because I am sending a digitized version to one of our web sites of all our zines to commemorate my co-host, who died tragically less than a week ago. Not only did you give us a lot of insight into the early years, and into the music biz, but I think it was on your dime, because we didn't reach you at first, but rather your (step?) father, and you called us back.

As soon as I know where everything is going I'll post about it. My co-host probably had the audio archived, but because drugs and crime were involved in his demise, I probably can't get at it.
